Noa Israeli

I am a PhD candidate (Stage II) in the Department of Labor Studies at Tel Aviv University. My research interests include gender inequality, work–family relations, disability studies, and social policy. My dissertation examines how national family and welfare policies shape employment disadvantages and the gendered division of paid labor within families raising children with disabilities. More broadly, my work explores how individual and family-level disadvantages interact with institutional and policy contexts in the EU countries. I use quantitative research methods, including cross-national analyses of large-scale representetive data.

Alongside my doctoral research, I conduct research on a range of projects in my roles as a research fellow and research assistant. I also lecture in the Department of Labor Studies at Tel Aviv university, and regularly present my work at national and international conferences.

I am a licensed social worker with senior management experience at a disability‑focused NGO, where I developed and led a national rehabilitation program for adolescents and young adults with visual impairments and their families.
